As I correctly predicted a while back Madeon is self-releasing the first of four singles originally intended for his debut EP.
'Icarus' has made its way up to the A-list of BBC Radio 1's playlist in recent weeks and is now set for release on 26th February 2012 through popcultur.
Why has Madeon called his label/imprint 'popcultur'? Your guess is as good as mine. I presume the label only exists to release Madeon records, a bit like Robyn owns Konichiwa Records to exclusively release her music.
You can pre-order the radio edit and extended mix of 'Icarus' on iTunes.
